This painting was inspired by one of my daughter's arrangements. The whole arrangement was gorgeous. Because of this, I struggled with where to put my focal point. I tried so many different areas but eventually decided not to decide, to keep the uncertainty, hence the name. Most of the time, decisions come easily to me. But sometimes, they seem impossible, elusive. So this painting celebrates the times when we make no decision.

This painting won Best in Show at the Highlands Mountaintop Arts and Crafts Show, 2026.
